Celebrate 59FIFTY Day with the latest 2023 fitted caps released by New Era Cap Company. New Era released a few themed fitted hats to celebrate 59FIFTY Day as well as other swag for your baseball cap which will be discussed in this blog.

What is 59FIFTY Day?

For those who are non-collectors and somewhat new to the 'hat game' you may not actually know what 59FIFTY Day is. We've actually written a more comprehensive post about it, but in simple terms 59FIFTY is the signature style and one of the most popular baseball caps you can get your hands on. Not only is the 59FIFTY cap worn and loved by many enthusiasts but its been a staple in Hip Hop & street culture and is the cap worn by professional athletes. New Era and enthusiasts celebrate  the iconic cap creation on May 9th of every year, which in numeral form is 5/9 (symbolic to 59FIFTY).

59FIFTY Day Caps Released in 2023

Signature Size 59FIFTY Day 2023 Caps

So there are a couple caps that were released to celebrate 59FIFTY Day. First lets talk about the  signature size caps. The Signature size fitted caps has a black six panel structured high crown and embroidered eyelets. The fabric squatchee button located at the top of the crown and visor are also black. The front panel includes a gold tone 59FIFTY size embroidery (7, 7 1/2, 7 1/4, 7 5/8, etc). 

Vegas Gold Pinstripe 59FIFTY Day 2023 MLB Caps

These MLB fitted caps have a vegas gold six panel structured high crown, and embroidered eyelets with white pinstripes across the crown. The fabric squatchee button and flat visor are colored (colors vary by team but include blue, red, navy, black etc). The fitteds have a kelly green undervisor with a black sweatband. The front panel includes the MLB team logo embroidery and a "New Era The Cap The Pros Wear" side patch. I don't know how you guys feel about the New Era logo shaped as a cap but I love seeing it. A total of sixteen (16) of these caps were released.

Leather 59FIFTY Day 2023 MLB Caps

Last but not least are the Leather 59FIFTY Day caps which has a leather six panel structured high crown and embroidered eyelets with a leather squatchee button and flat visor. Similar to the vegas gold pinstripe caps these fitteds have a kelly green undervisor with a black sweatband. The front panel includes the MLB team's logo embroidered in gold or black stitching with a "New Era The Caps The Pros Wear" side patch on the right panel.

NFL Bronze 59FIFTY Day Caps

The NFL bronze 59FIFTY Day football caps were released later than the first two themed caps. These caps features a bronze/panama tan tone six panel structured high crown and embroidered eyelets with a colored fabric squatchee button and flat visor. The fitted has a grey bottom undervisor and throwback retro team logo. one of the most noticeable hats in this collection is the Pittsburgh Steelers because out of all of the Steelers caps we've archived I don't recall ever seeing that logo before which is quite interesting and a definite grab for Steelers fans.

NBA Tan 59FIFTY Day Caps

Released approximately the same day as the NFL Bronze theme caps these 59FIFTY fitted hats features a vegas gold/tan tone six panel structured high crown with team colored embroidered eyelets, fabric squatchee button and flat visor. The front panel includes the MLB tam logo embroidery and the 59FIFTY Day signature " New Era The Cap The Pros Wear" side patch.

Other 59FIFTY Day 2023 Swag

Other 59FIFTY Day swag included New Era pins. The 59FIFTY sticker pin I had a feeling would be popular (currently sold out/unavailable at the time of writing). I believe a similar style pin was released during the Christmas season and it was incredibly popular. Something else that was interesting was the 59FIFTY sticker visor clip which is also popular. Its a gold clip that attaches to the visor. So that's all for now, however, if there are any more releases I'll try to update this post and inform you.
