In the past few months Google trends has seen an increase of women searching for fitted hats. Im not sure what has caused the increase of searches but I am here for it! I wrote in an article "Are Fitted Hats Out of Style" that searches for "fitted hats" has went from 18,000 searches per month to 33,100 searches per month since the start of Covid-19. There has been an increase presence of female visitors on this website searching for fitted hats as well.

I conducted a simple search on Twitter for "fitted hats" to see what was being said, if anything. Below are a few screenshots I've taken from individuals mentioning fitted hats. During the search I noticed a lot of females and others mentioning getting a "fitted hat with the name on the side". The line made reference to getting their significant other name embroidered on the side of the fitted hat. As many women and men have gotten this customization done a common problem re-emerged...fitted hat size. Many people who haven't worn fitted hats in a while ran into the same old problem of getting the wrong size fitted hats or not knowing how to measure their head. Historically fitted hats and baseball caps with the straight brim (New Era 59Fifty) are worn by men but many women wear fitted hats as well.
