Historically Black Colleges & Universities Fitted Hats
This collection of HBCU fitted hats include caps that represents Historically Black Colleges & Universities. Such schools include Howard University, FAMU, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta, Hampton University, Morehouse College and Tuskegee university. The aforementioned schools are some of the top HBCU schools although there are around 100 total HBCUs in the United States (previously 104).
The latest New Era released HBCU fitted hats were dropped on February 1, 2022. A great release date considering it's the first day of Black History Month.
Just Some Fun Knowledge
Spelman and Morehouse college has always worked with each other synergistically (we decided to throw that word in there because...you know, college). Spelman is an all female school and Morehouse is an all male school. Both are considered the top 5 HBCUs. Spelman also collaborates with Clark Atlanta University. All three of these schools are located in Atlanta, Georgia. Martin Luther King is also an alumni of Morehouse.
Howard University vs Hampton University: The Real HU
Howard University and Hampton University has historically battled with each other (friendly rivals). This friction between the two is known as "The Real HU" because both schools acronyms are "HU". Both schools have some pretty popular alumni which includes the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris.
